Route to our institute
Arriving by train
Arriving by train and changing to local line until "Stadtmitte"
After you have arrived at the central station (Hauptbahnhof), please take one of the S-trains which depart into direction "Vaihingen/Schwabstraße". You can take any of the 6 S-lines which go into that direction. Get off the train at station "Stadtmitte".
On foot from S-station "Stadtmitte" to our institute
- Take the exit "Büchsenstraße"
- Turn into "Büchsenstraße" and keep walking straight (you will cross Hospitalstraße, Heustraße, Schlosstraße)
- after crossing the tram lines you will see a building that houses the prefectural surveying agency "Landesvermessungsamt". Pass by that building and turn right into "Breitscheidstraße".
- Our institute is at Breitscheidstraße 2. Take the stairs or the elevator up to the 4th floor where you will find our institute's directorate.
Arriving by plane
Arriving at the airport and changing to local line until "Stadtmitte"
After arriving at the airport, please go down to level where the S-trains depart. You can take either S2 into direction "Schorndorf" or S3 into direction "Backnang". Get off the train at station "Stadtmitte". A trip from the airport to "Stadtmitte" requires a ticket for two zones.
